४)व्यक्ति विशेषको सुख-दुःखको ज्ञान-जातकग्रन्थका आधारमा कुनै पनि व्यक्तिको जन्मदेखि लिएर मृत्युसम्मका समस्त क्रियाकलापको अध्ययन र फलादेश गर्न सकिन्छ । कुनै पनि जातकले कतिसम्म अध्ययन गर्ने, कुन पदमा पुग्ने, कति अर्थोपार्जन गर्ने, कुन पेशा अपनाउने, स्त्री-पुत्रादिबाट कत्तिको सहयोग पाउने इत्यादि विषयको उत्तर दिने कार्य पनि जातकग्रन्थले नै गर्दछ । जातकग्रन्थद्वारा फलादेश गर्दा लग्नकुण्डलीलाई प्रमुख आधार मानिन्छ । लग्न नै जातकको स्वरूप हो । यसैले यसलाई 'तनु' भनिन्छ । जसरी जातकको जीवनसम्बन्धी वर्ण्र्ााहुन्छ त्यस्तै गरी उसको पितामाता स्त्री आदिको पनि यथार्थ ज्ञान गर्न खोज्नु सबैको स्वाभाविक प्रवृत्ति हो । यसमा नवमांश कुण्डलीद्वारा धर्मपत्नी, होराकुण्डलीद्वारा सम्पत्ति र सुख, द्रेष्काण कुण्डलीद्वारा दाजुभाइ तथा दिदीबहिनी, द्वादशांश कुण्डलीद्वारा मातापतिा, त्रिशांश कुण्डलीद्वारा अरिष्ट र सप्तमांश कुण्डलीद्वारा सन्तानको स्थिति पत्ता लगाउने कुरा ज्योतिषशास्त्रमा वणिर्त छ । वर्षप्रवेशका आधारमा फलादेश गर्ने ताजिकशास्त्र भने अर्कै छ । समुद्रले बताएको नियमानुसार शरीरका विभिन्न अङ्ग, चिन्ह, हस्त-पादादिका रेखाहरूको यथार्थ अध्ययन गरी फलादेश गर्दा जातकशास्त्र र सामुन्द्रिक शास्त्रको फल एउटै आउँछ । भिन्न फल आएका लग्न, नवमांशादिमा गल्ती भएको वा सामुद्रिक विधिमा त्रुटि भएको मानिन्छ । जे होस् यी दुवै शास्त्र एक-अर्कामा पूरक हुन् ।
५)जिज्ञासापर्ूर्ति-मानिसलाई अचानक केही समस्या पर्दछ यसमा के होला भनी धेरै व्यक्तिहरू ज्योतिषकहाँ जान्छन् यसरी आएका व्यक्तिहरूको जिज्ञासापर्ूर्ति गर्न ज्योतिषले यथार्थ जवाफ दिनर्ुपर्छ । कुनै माल हराएको वा चोरी भएको छ भने त्यो माल कहाँ छ - कतापट्ट िछ ः कसले लग्यो - चोर कस्तो छ - आदि, यस सम्बन्धमा केवल वस्तुको प्रश्नमात्र हुँदैनन् अपितु विवाह, रोग, मुद्दा जन्म-मरण, वषर्ा, युद्ध आदिका प्रश्न पनि हुनसक्छन् । यसको सही उत्तर बताउने शास्त्रलाई प्रश्नशास्त्र भनिन्छ । प्रश्नको उत्तर बताउने क्रममा प्रश्नकालिन लग्नकुण्डली, प्रश्नकर्ताले पहिले उच्चारण गरेको वर्ण्र्ाा्रश्नकर्ताको चेष्टा र अरू विषयलाई समेत आधार मान्न सकिन्छ ।
६)दशाफल- हाल कस्तो दशा छ - भन्दा ज्योतिषशास्त्रमा दशाफल बताउने भिन्दाभिन्दै रीति देखिन्छन् । लग्नेश, चन्द्रमा र र्सर्ूयमध्ये जुन सबैभन्दा बलियो छ त्यसको आद्यदशा र त्यसबाट केन्द्र, पणफर र आपोक्लिम स्थानमा बसेका ग्रहहरूको क्रमैले दशा चल्छ । यसमा जुन ग्रहले जति आयर्ुदाय दिएको हुन्छ त्यसको दशवर्षो प्रमाण पनि त्यति नै हुन्छ । यो कुरा जातकग्न्थले स्पष्ट भने तापति आजकाल सजिलोको लागि विंशोत्तरी, त्रिभागी, योगिनी, अष्टोत्तरी आदि दशाका आधारमा फलादेश गरिन्छ । कसैले त भुक्तोन पनि गर्दैनन् तर यो कार्य गर्नेपर्छ ।
७)आयर्ुदाय साधन र मारक-जन्मकालिक स्पष्टग्रहरूले आ-आफ्नो अंश उच्च, नीच, वक्री, मार्गी र लग्नादि द्वादश भावमा बसेअनुसार प्रदान गर्ने आयर्ुदायको एकमुष्ठ नै वास्तविक आयु हो । यसले निर्धारण गरेको समयसम्म जातक जीवित रहन्छ । यसैका आधारमा पहिले-पहिले ज्योतिषीहरूले आयुको निर्धारण गर्थे । यसमा साधारण त्रुटि भयो भने आयुमा धेरै फरक आउँछ । आयु निर्धारण गरेजस्तै द्वितीय स्थान र सप्तम स्थानलाई मारक स्थान मानी यी दर्ुइ स्थानका मालिकको मूलदशामा कारक स्थानमा बसेको पाप ग्रहको अर्न्तदशा वा मारकेश ग्रहसित सम्बन्ध राख्ने ग्रहको अर्न्तर्दशामाआयुनाश हुन्छ । मारक क्रममा शनि ज्यादै प्रभावकारी हुन्छ भन्ने कुरा पनि ज्योतिषमा उल्लेखित छ ।
जसरी मानिसको आयर्ुदाय निर्धारण गरिन्छ त्यस्तै गरी हात्ती, घोडा आदिको समेत आयर्ुदाय निर्धारण गर्ने रीति जातकशास्त्रमा वणिर्त छ ।
८)अनूक- आर्यहरू पर्ूवजन्ममा विश्वास गर्दछन् र मरेपछि पनि म कुन लोकमा पुग्नेछु र त्यहाँ मेरो स्थिति कस्तो होला भन्ने जिज्ञासा राख्तछन् । हाल पृथ्वीतलमा प्राप्त मनुष्य अघिल्लो जन्ममा कुन लोकमा के थियो, अब कुन लोकमा जान्छ र के हुन्छ, यी सबै कुराको उत्तर पनि ज्योतिषबाटै थाहा हुन्छ । जन्म कुण्डलीअनुसार चन्द्रमा र र्सर्ूयमध्ये जो बली छ त्यो ग्रह बसेको राशिको जुन द्रेष्काण छ, त्यसको मालिक भएको ग्रहको आधार लोक र जातकको त्यहाँको स्थिति पत्ता लाग्दछ । गुरु, चन्द्र र शुक्र, र्सर्ूय र मङ्गल, शनि र बुध क्रम र्स्वर्ग, पितृलोक, तर्ीयग्योनि र नरकको मालिक मान्नर्ुपर्छ जन्मकालिक लग्नबाट पर्ूवजन्म र मरणकालिन लग्न पछिल्लो जन्मको ज्ञान हुन्छ ।
ज्योतिष र तन्त्र ऐहलौकिक सुखसमृद्धि र पारलौकिक मोक्ष दिलाउने अनुपम शास्त्र हुन् । यी दर्ुइको सम्बन्ध नङ र मासुको जस्तै छ । दिव्यज्ञानमय यी दर्ुइ शास्त्रको अध्ययन मनन, चिन्तन, प्रयोग, र अनुसन्धानबाट कुनै एक वर्ग विशेषको मात्र नभई अपितु समस्त मानव जातिकै र्सार्वत्रिक कल्याण हुन्छ ।
