Laxmi Puja for Financial Gains

On Dipawali Night,17 October 2009 at 19.07 to 21.03 hours NST, There is complete darkness all around. The process of moving from darkness towards light is known as Amawasya shanti. The darker the night is-it indicates that light is imminent. When the Night approaches dawn, it becomes more dark. We tend to fall into the comforts of sound sleep as the morning comes closer. The advent of morning signifies that darkness of any kind is not long-lasting. Be it more of grief or pleasure, nothing is permanent. The extreme of sorrow is an indicator of good times to come. Similarly, more of sleep means that dreams would overshadow real achievements. It has been said many a times, those who sleep are losers while those who are awaken are achievers. Meaning that sleeping after Brahma muhurta can result in missing out on many achievements.

Take two wooden carts on dipawali amawasya. Before the amawasya starts, enlight a big diya with mustard oil before an image of Shani Dev and pray to him to remove all obstacles to the arrival of prosperity and success to your home. Let the diya enlighted whole night and until the amawasya ends next day. When time comes for Dipawali pooja, place Goddess Laxmi's image on one cart and Shani Dev's image on the other on a black piece of cloth. Put a red cloth piece on the first one. Worship Goddess Laxmi with turmeric, vermillion, sweets, ashtagandha and sweet dishes. Offer her red cloth and flowers. For Shani Dev, worship him with black rice and blue flowers and offer him dishes made of Gahat and til. When offering these things to the deities, keep water ready as well. Place one dry coconut and one with water on both the carts. Sit in front and hum one round of Shani Mahamantra and Mahalaxmi mahamantra each. Every member of the family can do the mantra jaap for their individual prosperity as well. Following are the mantras for Dipawali...

Shani Mahamantra:

ऊँ नीलांजन समाभासं रवि पुत्रं यमाग्रजम्।
छाया मार्तण्ड सम्भूतं तम् नमामि शनैश्चरम्।।

Mahalaxmi Mahamantra:

ऊँ श्रीं ह्यीं कमले कमलालये प्रसीद श्रीं ह्यीं श्रीं ऊँ महालक्ष्मये नम:।

Before you start humming these mantras, recall your Guru and Lord Ganpati by humming their mantras 11-times each. After that, do Arti and ignite camphour. Then, tie all the prasadas kept in front of both the dieties, Shani Dev and Goddess Mahalaxmi, in different piece of clothes. Things kept in front of Shani Dev should be tied in a black cloth while res cloth should be used for Goddess Laxmi. However, keep the coconuts with water, kept on both the carts, aside. Give the things tied in black cloth to a poor man on the same night, along with a packet of food. Thigs tied in red cloth has to be given to a brahmin or a temple priest. Now take both the coconuts which had been kept aside earlier, and break them on the main entrance of your home, praying it removes all hindrances to increased success and prosperity from your lives. Once the coconut is broken, fill both the broken parts with sugar and ghee. Now, keep both the coconuts under a banyan tree, inside or outside your house but at a place where ants assemble in large numbers. By doing so, Shani Dev is satisfied and Goddess Laxmi is appeased as well. If there is a widow living near you, don't forget to give her food, gifts, clothes, etc. on Diwali night. It brings increased prosperity and enhanced life span of the spouse.

The other way is to rub panchamrit on Shani mantra and Shree mantra. After cleaning them with pure water, rub it with a mixture of ashtagandha, kesar and chandan. After performing arti with flowers, dhoop, incense sticks, offer prasada and sweets to them. After that place one plate of food, which should be enough for an individual, in front of both the yantras each. Let the food be there for the whole night. Give it to a cow next day.

The third option is to do Hawan during the Mahalaxmi Pooja muhurta to appease Shani Dev and to seek the blessings of Goddess Laxmi. For performing hawan, make a yagnya kund or prepare Charu samagri with mango wood, cow waste in the house. The charu samagri, which consists of til, sugar, ghee and rice, should be given as ahuti 108-times to both Shani mahayantra and Mahalaxmi Mahayantra each. After that, offer Shani Dev dishes made of Urad, til and ghee in fire. Offer ahuti of kheer-puri to Mahalaxmi 33 times. Then put dry coconut with mantras of both the dieties in the fire for Purnahuti one by one. For Guru and Lord Ganpati, offer ahuti of ghee. It is a very effective option.

The holy festival of Dipawali is a very vague muhurta for experiments relating to economic prosperity and entrepreneurial success. We can attain prosperity by doing smaller experiments as well. Do one or more of such experiments yourself, with dedication and devotion. With the blessings of Maa Laxmi, your financial health will improve.

Experiment 4 - For enhanced prosperity, send wheat to the chakki every Saturday and make it a point to mix some Black gram in it.

Experiment 5 - If the first child of the family is a boy, then remember to catch his detached teeth before it touches earth and keep it at a sacred place. Clean the teeth with Ganges water in the Guru Punya Nakshatra and put it in a silver case after offering prayers to it. Do the same whenever the birth nakshatra of the kid comes every month. You will not be short of finances.

Experiment 6 - Iy you are facing too much of financial problems, worship Vaibhav Laxmi on 21 consecutive Fridays. keep fast and offer kheer-mishri to five girls below one year of age on all of these Fridays. Your problems will start decreasing very soon.

Experiment 7 - This is a kind of experiment which can ensure permanent economic prosperity. Do it in the night of Dipawali in your home. You can do it yourself or can seek the help of an eligible brahmin. On Dipawali night, offer prayers to a Moti shankh or Dakshinawarti Shankh along with Dipawali Pooja. Do any Laxmi yantra jaap five times or Shrre Sukta seven times. Let the Shankh be at its original place. Next morning, take bath first and hum the same mantra sitting in front of the shankh. After each mantra, put one grain of rice in the shankh. Do the same for 108 times everyday, until the shankh is completely filled with rice. The day it is filled, offer food and dakshina to one married women, five girls below one year of age and at least one brahmin in the evening. Tie the shankh in a red piece of cloth and keep it at the place you usually keep your money. The day experiment ends, don't forget to show daylight to the shankh for the next 40 days. Then put it either at your place of worship or at the palce where you keep your money and then forget it. Once successful, Goddess Laxmi will have permanent abode in your household. Be attentive towards the fact that grains of rice used in the pooja should not be broken ones. Don't say anyone about it and keep it a complete secret.

According to religious scriptures, on every full moon day, Maa Laxmi comes to banyan tree at around 10 in the morning. Anybody in severe financial crisis should go near a banyan (peepal) tree at the same time, worship it, offer water and prayers to Maa Laxmi and do at least one round of any of the Laxmi mantras.
